The New York Post reports:
Jesus Toks. Controversial rapper and presidential candidate Kanye West has devised a way to make TikTok less of a cesspool for sin — by creating a child-friendly, Christian version of the video app.
“A vision just came to me… Jesus Tok,” Tweeted the 43-year-old rapper Monday. Yeezy pledged in a subsequent Tweet that he would “collaborate with TikTok to make a Christian monitored version that feels safe for young children and the world in Jesus’ name.”
It’s unclear what the Messianic makeover would entail, however online detractors pointed out that many of Ye’s past songs have been anything but wholesome.
A VISION JUST CAME TO ME… JESUS TOK I WAS WATCHING TIK TOK WITH MY DAUGHTER AND AS A CHRISTIAN FATHER I WAS DISTURBED BY A LOT OF THE CONTENT BUT I COMPLETELY LOVED THE TECHNOLOGY
